Scarborough and Whitby Green Party

We now have two Green councillors. Dilys Cluer comfortably retained Stepney Ward.  Mark Vesey is our new councillor in Ramshill Ward

Dilys Cluer

Dilys Cluer has been one of Stepney's Green Councillors since 2007, coming top of the poll when she was re-elected in 2011. In the Council she has served on the committees for Planning and Development, Resources and Safer and Stronger Communities,  as well as on smaller groups. She chairs the Sustainability Working Group.
A former teacher and private tutor, now retired, Dilys enjoys other activities when she can find the time: choral singing, gardening and walking with her husband, languages and her membership of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) where she is one of the clerks. She has lived in Stepney Ward for more than 20 years.
